I moved more of my kits around this afternoon, trying to get my hobby room organized. I took the time to look over one of the diecast kits I bought. I noticed that it looks like the panel lines could use some "scribing".
Then my mind kicked in and I began to try and figure how to scribe diecast. I have a bit for my Dremel that is small enough to fit but I also see the possibility of that bit getting away from me and putting nice, big, ugly scratches on the metal.
Does anybody have experience in scribing diecast, or does anybody have any idea how to do it? At this point, I'm not planning on attempting it. I figure the build would look better unaltered versus ugly scratches.

I went to town on a metal body with a Dremel. It was not a delicate process.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of. I no longer have very good feeling in my right hand and I'm right handed. I figure if I tried the Dremel thing I'd make a real mess of things. The majority of my diecast kits are older Hubley & JLE kits. I noticed on several of those kits that the panel lines are fairly shallow. I thought if there was a way to scribe them just a bit deeper it would help the overall appearance of the build. I can always use a wash to darken the lines but thought I'd ask if anybody knew a way to scribe them.
