I got the replacement parts from Reliable Resin. This first picture shows the original parts that were sent, on the left, and the replacement parts he sent on the right. You can see the broken hinge on the top, toward the middle of the picture. And the defective grille back in the lower left corner of the picture. There a small bubble in the top edge of the tail light trim that will have to be puttied. I guess he sent a ‘Cuda hood with the replacement items for the parts issues. Here’s a close up of the broken tilt nose hinge - And here’s one of the defective grille back -

Some RMR resin kits arrived today. Dodge Coronet Wagon 1970. This must be Al's favorite with Slant 6 Chrysler Town and Country Station Wagon 1967.

I participated in the very first "Desert Scale Classic" virtual model show this year.
Rather than cancel, as most shows did this year, the guys in Arizona decided to continue with theirs and hold the show on-line.
I felt that this was a good opportunity to participate in a show that I would otherwise probably never attend, living in Minnesota, and I didn't even have to get out of my Lazy Boy to do it!
My '68 Olds 442 W-30 did very well, taking first place in the factory stock category, as well as a "Master Award" for best interior.
My '65 Plymouth Fury took 2nd in the Street Machine category.
I was very humbled and very happy.

Well I haven't picked any kits lately, but I did drag this 72 Polara home. Actually I drove it! Picked it up dirt cheap. I got to weld the frame in a couple of spots and replace a brake caliper. Some rear quarter patches too. But it has a ton of new parts including tires and fuel tank, sending unit, and straps. Brand new Edelbrock AVS2 carb to name a few. 360 4bbl, auto trans. Dual exhaust. Also original paint. Another for the fleet, I didn't need it but I wanted it! I nicknamed it Krusty!

Oh, crap. You got my balloon car. You ARE planning on sending that my way. Right? Really nice grabs. I hope you got the balloon car for a lot less than they've been going for on eBay. So I already have two of them, but there was no way I was passing this sealed one up for (hope your sitting down) $40!!!

Great bunch of grabs, guys! Marty....I'm kinda wishin' I had a bank account like yours! The best I've been able to do on one of those '68 Coronet kits is a couple of gluebombs that need quite a bit of work.
