I had been hoping to travel to Lyons, IN on the 25th of this month to watch the Southeast Gasser Association run. The extended forecast is looking like temps in the mid 90s with heat indexes well over 100. There is no way I can go if that turns out to be the case. I was really hoping for a week or weekend of cooler temps. Oh, well.

Yeah, dang is right. I've been emailing with Quain Stott about it. He started the Southeast Gasser Association. I was supposed to meet him and his family. I really want to go. They run ONLY gassers built like the gassers of the 60s. There's no bracket racing with these guys. It's heads up and let's see what ya got type racing.
Hopefully, the weather will be a little cooler or the humidity will be lower. We all know how much the forecast can change from day to day. An extended forecast can definitely be wrong. I'm still holding on to a sliver of hope.
