This is all my buddy Jim's fault, ya know. Haaad to go and show me his models and talent and what's now available since I was building models back in my first childhood. Then he goes and builds a stunning model of my Duster back when it was famous.
So, I dug out my boxed-up stuff I collected over the years for when it's time to sit on the porch and yell at people. The thought occurred that maybe I should finish the '68 Road Runner model I put on hold when I went to 1:1 scale at 16. (Weird thing about that is that 20 years later, I would later own the car whose 1/25 scale version I was building.)
This site looks like a good resource for info - I've learned that a lot of scale sites on the interweb are outdated - and maybe I can be of some use as well.

Thanks for the welcomes. It'll be a while before I have anything of value to show, as I've been dealing with eye surgeries since a detached retina in April 2020. Have a couple of cataract surgeries to go, but have been gathering parts for a couple of Road Runner builds I want to do when I can see worth a damn. Also want to finish a couple of models I left half-done about 50 years ago (!). In the meantime I'm gathering info, looking through Jim's Scale Auto magazines, and pestering him whenever I can. FWIW, during that 50 years I've restored many Mopars - '63 & '64 Savoys, '68 Chargers, '68 & '69 Road Runners, '68 Barracuda 340-S, etc - and have researched Max Wedges, A990 cars, etc - so if you need reference info on their details, ask away.

thanks topside. research and reference is an ongoing thing. so many books, web pages, articles. my big question anymore is not "is that correct?" but "how do you know that it's wrong.". i, like many people have been around mopars all my life, not so much say in the past 5 years or so, but any meet in a 500 mile radius, i was there. i am not a total geek on numbers by no means. i have seen cars that the books will say it was never built. well, one a friends dad worked at a Plymouth assembly plant. their main thing was to not stop the line. put on what you have. i know one of the stupid ones is the outside door handle button, is it black or chrome, i dont really give a rats ass, but i know that this guys father, if they had them both, one would put a chrome button on and the other guy a black one because they hated the quality control guys. you will hear all kinds of stories about this and when which one belongs on which car at what stamping date. he had stories upon storied, God rest his soul. another one that just hurts is how many parts got destroyed so they wouldn't have to pay year end taxes on the inventory. he told us he remembers crushing 69 1/2 road runner hoods, AAR hoods, spoilers.
anyways, i have lots of questions about things, what's right, what's wrong, who knows. that's why i build pro street!! i love to talk about this stuff, i have all the books at home, not really, but i have a lot. mostly B body stuff. will talk this stuff till my face turns B5 blue!!
