Everyone probably has a favorite year of all the MOPARS/AMCs that have been built down through the decades. Post up your faves and make some comments about them. I'll get the topic rolling.....
For Chrysler, my favorite year is '68, especially for the 300. In my opinion, it may be the best looking car, ever.
Favorite Imperial year is '68, also. ( I have a '68 convertible in my driveway.)
Dodge Monaco/Polara is '68, as well. Very clean lines on those. Favorite Coronet year will be '66, as I've owned three in my time, including one convertible. Favorite Charger is a tossup between '66/'67 and '71-'74. Can't make up my mind, there. Favorite Dart will be a '69. I like them better than the '67/'68, for some reason.
Next time, I'll toss in my 2 pennies on the Plymouths.
Your thoughts, folks?

1968 for the SS Dart. 1969 for the Super Bee.

thats a very simple but complex question all at the same time. ok, am not going to give 1 straight answer, i am going to give 2 years. the first is 1964. you all know i am a fan of drag racing, and even though 63 i believe was the year that Chrysler backed racers and built factory race cars, to me 64 was a way better stylish year and it was the birth year to the 426 hemi.
the other year was 1969. i am a b-body lover and a 69 road runner pig!! even though a lot of the b bodies were introduced in 68, i will give them a year to work out the kinks. plus i think 69 is the better looking year. 68's are nice to, but 68 are more of an aggressive look. i like that too. really a tough question, missing a lot of cars. i am not even getting to the big ol land yachts.

I forgot the Dodge Challenger! While the newest ones are great looking, and full of power, I still have as my favorite the 1970 year model.

Been fond of Mopars since Mom & Dad got a '57 Plymouth brand new. I was 6 or 7 years old. (My favorite car before that was my grandparents' '55 Chevy.) Liked the '62 Plymouths and most every year thereafter, as well as my cousin's 300D, and some Dodges, especially the '59. Always been fond of Barracudas, from '64-'69. But Chrysler knocked it outta the park with the '68 B-bodies, and again with the '70 E-bodies. My favorites are the '68-'69 RRs, '68 Charger, '70 & '72 Barracudas, '70 Challenger, the "fuselage" Imperials, and several of the 300 letter cars. To my eye, if I had to pick just one, I'd say the '68 Charger holds its own when compared to any street car design, ever. (For GM, I'd pick '70-'73 Camaro, '56-'57 Vette a close 2nd; Ford, '69 Mustang FB.) I'd say the RR was one of the best ideas ever to come out of Detroit.

My favorite Mopar is the Fury 1961 2dht, specially with a 383 cu Sonoramic Commando engine. Uniquely designed car with a special engine. 1965 Imperial is cool too. Otherwise, GTX '69 and Charger '70.
But 1st is AMC Javelin AMX 1971 with 401

Plymouth. Hmmmmm....... C-body Fury for me is the '67. B-body favorite year is the '72, although I really like the '68 GTX. ('75-'76 Fury gets an honorable mention here.) A-body has to be the '66 Barracuda. Love the built in "sunroom" in the back! LoL E-body favorite year is the '71. It just looks aggressive, to me. Favorite Volare is the '77 RoadRunner. Not a pure muscle car, like the MOPARS that came before, but I really like the looks.

My favorite Mopar year has to be 71. Best year for the cuda and 340 Duster. But I 69 is my favorite year for Roadrunner. Favorite A body you guys already know for me it’s the Duster 340 71 or 72. While the 71 had the most horsepower. 72 had the first year electronic ignition.

My favorite year was the one where they made the best cars out of the big three. Oh, wait that's all of them.

For my AMC choices, I like 1977 for the Hornet. Especially the Hornet AMX. I had one of those with the 304 V-8. 92 mph was top end on that one, so it wasn't a'Cuda killer! LoL Ambassador year is the 1968. Rebel has to be the 1970, the year of the great looking red, white, and blue "Machine"! I like the 1969 American (SC/Rambler). Gremlins and Pacers are pretty much a mixed bag. They all seem to be the same, to me. I have two years for the Javelin/AMX....1968, and 1972. Both have unique styling that none of the other "Big Three" had.

I always liked the look of the 68 Javelin AMX... I'd much rather have one of those than to have a Corvette.

A couple Chryslers I left out of the first post.... Cordoba....pretty much all years, but I had a black 1976 with a 360 V-8. Sweet car! Wish I still had it! Lebaron had a few changes along the way. '77-'79, based on the Aspen/Volare. I had a '79 with a 360. Pleasantly surprised by the late '70s performance of that one. Also had a '95 Lebaron GTC convertible. Smooth car for its size. So, '79 and '95 on the Lebaron.
