So I have one on the drawing board that I have two choices of builds. Both are Pro Stocks I believe. One way I could go is to build a Butch Leal Duster. The other is to do the Duster that Herb McCandless drove for Sox & Martin. I have the Decals and the hood for the California Flash driven by Butch Leal but would have to come up with the Pro Stock tunnel ram and carbs for that one. Oh! and the wheels, but there are tons of casters doing all of the wheels and tires from back then, I think the Sox & Martin car used the Super Stock intake (and may have actually been run in Super Stock) but I didn't realize that no one is making the decals for that car. I have found several Sox & Martin decal sheets but none offer the Herb McCandless version. So I would have to custom paint the car and then try and sweet talk someone into doing the name that goes on top of the car. So here is what I have so far. Oh and I have the correct hood coming for the Herb McCandless car which was a six-pack scoop on a Duster hood.

Eric looks like you are off to a great start looking forward to seeing your progress on both of these SS.

i may have the intake and carbs from a Johan S and M 71 cuda (the tunnel ram one) if that is the one you need? not real sure, i have to check. i will ask around for the Herb decals. no help. but either one would be cool. i would probably do the S and M build just because they use a 6 pack hood, not the typical pro stock scoop.
btw - all these people have lots of parts. you should ask if anyone has the parts you need. just like this, if anyone has any Johan kits, 71 challengers, 65 dodge kits that they are not using, i will take them. see, that was easy.

Thanks again guys, and Al I think I have a tunnel ram that I can use and Fireball resin has all kinds of carbs along with a bunch of other casters. I will most likely do the California Flash car as I know that there are resin parts out there to do that car and I already have the decals.
I also have a California Flash Hemi Dart in the planning stages, even have the decals for that one too. I am pretty sure that one was an SS/B car with a 4 speed, not 100% sure yet though. More research to do on that one.
