Got myself distracted from building - I mean, trying to build, another model. Been fooling around with buying this car since last September when I heard about it from a mutual acquaintance. '69 Road Runner, 383 4-speed Air Grabber Decor coupe. 17,000-mile mostly original/untouched car. I'm the 4th owner, the previous 3 were friends. Picked it up a month ago, and since addressed a few details and been driving it a bit. It's truly a time machine, tight as new, just as I remember them from back then.
I plan on doing some wheels & tires, but otherwise just maintaining it & enjoying it. The garage is now officially full and well-stocked for pretty much any event

sweet!! love, love, love those 69's. second favorite color too. i wouldn't change a thing on that beauty, well, maybe just a little, like a blower, tubs, cage, new front suspension stuff, narrowed dana. i'd keep the dash in it..... haha, oh i crack me up sometimes.
really, congratulations and good luck with it.

Updates? Not really, just little stuff like new correct hoses & new correct clamps, correct air filter, and changing out its tach for a more accurate one. Agonized for months over wheels & tires; finally decided on Magnums because the car's so original, and wouldn't ya know it, they're on back-order until some time in May. Crappy weather here still - cold wind, nights still in the 20s - and I'm really itching to get some miles in the cars. Seriously searching for a warmer climate, as I've lost my enthusiasm for snow and cold.
