When I got my latest Road Runner, the guy gave me a diecast that was also yellow: kinda-sorta the car, but a V21 HT. Not a mint perfect diecast, not enough rarity or value to outweigh the fun in tweaking it to resemble the real car more closely. So, I made it a coupe & repainted the upper fenders & hood, and did a little detailing here & there. Just a fun mini-project.
Still have to re-do the wipers from chrome to silver and re-install...

Thanks, guys - yeah, I don't recall seeing poverty caps before; all of mine have Magnums, so that was the detail that pushed me into the tweak. The caps had the Dodge logo on them, but a little work with the 2mm chrome pen fixed that. Oddly to me, the Plymouth script on the hood was printed, the door bird & lettering are decals, and they didn't put the trunk lid bird or lettering on. At least the redlines are concentric, something AMT didn't accomplish in 1:25.

Thanks, but after I did the wipers, I called it done. It was just an easy, fun deal, not at all a high-detail thing. Need to get back on the 1:24 model of my old Q5 Road Runner, and finish the AMT Haulaway trailer. That will hold a bunch of my '69 promos & the Q5 car. I need more display space! Then a proper truck to hook up to that trailer, and on to a replica of my Grampa's '55 BelAir. After that, maybe a replica of my old red '68 Charger...
