Nice work and paint! I am in the middle of building the Autocar dump truck at the moment. So many parts! Thanks! You should post your Autocar here I’m interested in seeing what your doing with it. I’ve got a couple of them in my closet and was thinking about building one for my next build. I’m also thinking of making one with the new reissued Challenge cement mixer. I will.

Al I made them a couple years ago for my sand and gravel trucking collection. Future builds to the collection will be a Autocar and Kenworth and any other ideas I come up with.

Love the Big Horn!!!! All of them are very well done, but the Big Horn is by far my favorite of the bunch. I have the Petty Kit with the Brand-X hauler and am thinking of either using the Big Horn cab or doing a L-700 conversion.

I would go with the short nose Big Horn that was in pre production before all the big trucks were canceled by Chrysler.

That came out great! Nice build! How do you build so fast? The dump truck is taking forever it seems, always more to paint!

Wow! Really nice work on the Mack! I like the Super Bee Trucking idea too.
The idea about the short hood Big Horn looks like I wouldn't need to stretch the frame out either. I do like the look of the long hood better though, and if I remember right Chrysler only made one short hood Big Horn and they still have it. I think one of the C series cabs would work too. Of course, I would have to replace the engine with a Cummins from somewhere lol.
Okay I looked it up and Dodge made 9 of the prototype Shortnose Big Horns, and some are still around and in the hands of private owners. With that being said it is possible that a hauler could have been made out of one.

Thanks. I have a lot of time to work on my models like 40 plus hours a week.

I’ve seen where that one has been sold. I would say that it’s possible one could of been used as a car hauler and if they had Chrysler sponsor support they could of had better access to a prototype sitting in a back lot. Either way it would make a nice Mopar car hauler.
