Wow! Really nice work on the Mack! I like the Super Bee Trucking idea too. The idea about the short hood Big Horn looks like I wouldn't need to stretch the frame out either. I do like the look of the long hood better though, and if I remember right Chrysler only made one short hood Big Horn and they still have it. I think one of the C series cabs would work too. Of course, I would have to replace the engine with a Cummins from somewhere lol. Okay I looked it up and Dodge made 9 of the prototype Shortnose Big Horns, and some are still around and in the hands of private owners. With that being said it is possible that a hauler could have been made out of one.Okay again my info was wrong, LOL, damn it. There were 9 prototypes. But only one survived and Chrysler kept it until 2010 when it was sold the truck to a private owner. That private owner restored the truck to as close to as new condition as he could get it. |
