It’s been about 10 years since I build mine but yeah the front axle needs to be cut to fit for the wheels to be right. I think that over the years that note was removed.

Nice progress. This is not very easy to make properly when the parts do not fit together well. This is my favorite Dodge big rig. I’ve once started L-700 but its thread has disappeared somewhere from here.   |

I’ve once started L-700 but its thread has disappeared somewhere from here. everytime i see these kits, it kills me. i was at a cheap discount store (Ollies) and the guy had a whole box of these going on the shelf @$14.00 each. i didnt buy not a 1. .. and if your thread dissapeared, blame Marty. |

Catching up on mine, here ya go, done. Loaded up photos (with old promos) in the Diorama section. Don't know if they're visible, but I made a scale Atlas & street map of Chicago and put 'em in the cab next to the driver's seat.
