Thanks Ed. Little more progress on frame I was able to paint it and finish the wheels. Did another test fit and have figured out how much I need to raise the dump body to clear the cab. Looks like it’s going to be Monday before my black paint arrives. On the good side waiting for the black paint has allowed the yellow paint to dry. I sometimes get in a hurry and don’t let the first coat of paint to dry long enough. Here’s today’s progress.

Very nice! I'm learning from doing my 1st truck - a Dodge L700 - how fiddly they are.
Funny how some details are included but others are ignored.
Doesn't help that I'm pretty ignorant about them, either !

Topside you picked one of the more difficult trucks to start with.

I was able to get the black paint on today and realized that I had a problem with the rear suspension. There’s a note on the directions that has you trim the brackets that supports springs and I forgot to do that. It’s one of those things do I really need to fix it or will it be ok. Well when I put the dump body on it was very overwhelming not level so I have reworked it. Now it’s the way it should look and I’m glad I fixed it. It was only an hour to correct it. Here’s today’s test fit up.

looks good. yea, those front tires are impressive!! like the black how it swoops down the side. that hour is the difference between an OK build and a much better build. half our modeling time is used up by these OOPS's. most of the time i dont fix mine.

Thanks guys I found a guy on eBay that sells them and bought a bunch of them but these are the last ones I have so I’m going to have to find the guy and order some more. I’ve been working on the Mack adding some of the little details. Getting ready to work on the interior next. Here’s my progress pictures.

Looks great so far! So many panels on my dump body were warped.
