This has been an on and off project for some time. Working to get it done for our club show in about a month. It has been a challenge because the parts don't fit and there are lots of them. This is a tongue in cheek build so hopefully no one takes offense with it.

Nice build and I’m not seeing anything that would offend me.

The stars and bars on the roof has offended some people on the real car. This started with a Polar Lights Buddy Baker stock car in an attempt to make a stock 73 Charger when no kits were available of the subject. The kit is so rough that it seemed to be the only thing to do was make a cartoon car out of it based on the question,"What would happen when the Dukes ran out of 69 Chargers to destroy?" Computer generated decals, seats and wheels from MPC Jeep Buggy kit, misc, bits from the parts box and a scratch built push bar. The front is complete with the CB antenna and tail light coming next to finish up.

first off, i thought Polar Lights Kits were suppose to be pretty good? if the Dukes ran out of chargers, they should start tearing up Camaros. damn, there are so many of those, it would take them eons to go thru all of them. great concept.

This was a very old PL kit. Lots of details very poorly done.
