what is your pin vice of choice? need to get some more smaller ones and just wondered what you all use.

Al I picked these pin vices up at Micro - Mark several years ago and have used them with out any problems. I’m currently getting a lot of use with this one on my current build. Lol. They are on page 35 if you have their mailer catalog. Hopefully this helps.

Harbor Freight has them with double-sided collets to accept a variety of bit sizes. Also had a selection of bits from .5 mm to 3.0 mm. All in, cheaper than breakfast...

wow! true value, i dont think we have any more of those left around here. maybe i will try ACE, i believe they are the same. they sell the bits too? lazy here, but it would be nice to have a vice for all the bits. just grab and drill.

Harbor Freight has a bit package that goes down to .5 mm - cheap, but I haven't broken one in plastic.

I have about four different types of pin vices. I use them all, usually keeping a different size bit in each one to keep from changing them out all the time. Harbor Freight has some bits small enough that an old geezer like myself needs a magnifier to see them!
