Someone's gonna have to change the name of this site !
Didn't know that trailer kit existed, might be a good way to condense more of my cars...

Revell reissued the car transporter kit a couple years ago so they are responsible priced. I’ve got 33 cars on 4 transporters that helps save shelf space.

I dunno, Al, I was thinking "Mopars But Mostly Trucks In Scale" (I'm OK with them, don't get me wrong - but I have more Mopar builds loosely planned)
Bonus on that Revell kit is that it's more modern in appearance, so it's a better match for later cars, and allows a clearer view of its cargo. Not sure when that style carrier became common, but period photos will illustrate.

I built that same transporter several years ago. It has a lot of parts. I wouldn't mind building another one.
Mine is "hauling" Chevrolets. I call it, "Hauling Bowties to the Boneyard".

I’ve been working on the lower deck of the truck and started working on the trailer so I can figure out the details for the hitch and the front of the trailer.

Another few thousand holes to drill? Dang!

Only a few more holes on this one. I have been working on the hitch and trailer connection. I’ve added some steel in the hitch to make sure it will hold up with the trailer weight. I’ve also figured out how I’m going to build the upper deck on the truck. My spare parts from the Haul Away trailer are coming in real nicely. Here’s today’s mock up and test fitting.

A rail car big enough for twelve C-bodies? My goodness, that's huge! LOL
I like where this project is going, mopar. It's already looking good!

i am just jealous of them to tell you the truth. should have bought some long ago. now i am too cheap to spend the money on one.
