The new November/December issue cover article is on auto weathering which is cool.
Also something in there is gonna make many mad...on page 5 is an important announcement... they are reducing the number of issues to 6 per year and they are not extending our subscriptions to make up for the number we originionally paid for... I for one will probably not renew as the costs keep going up and the quantity goes down.

oh yea, the weathering article sounds great. but with this news, i will keep my money and watch youtube videos and rely on the modelers here. there i go bitching again.... sorry, but it is just so frustrating and i do not mean to turn this post into a political thing.

A lot of magazines have already caved to the online/streaming thing, especially in the automotive realm.
Personally, I prefer paper, but as a buddy of mine says, "we're no longer the prime demographic".
It's a societal shift driven by marketing that's overpowered tradition, and arguably, convenience.

A lot of magazines have already caved to the online/streaming thing, especially in the automotive realm. Personally, I prefer paper, but as a buddy of mine says, "we're no longer the prime demographic". It's a societal shift driven by marketing that's overpowered tradition, and arguably, convenience. yea,. you go to the doctor and he tells you to loose weight. so you go home in your vehicle that drives itself, get you robot lawn mower out to cut the grass, open your automatic garage door, get into the house and tell Alexa to pour you a glass of water, shut the drapes, start the vacuum, turn the TV on while we sit on the couch and eat nachos!! pretty soon when we sit on the couch we will be shoving a tube up our asses so we dont even have to get up to take a poop!! sorry. |

Hey, right now there is some people who do not get up to poop!!! Honestly I haven't got that magazine in years. Never knew when the next issue was coming.

My Auto Scale Model magazine was transferred over to this one so I’m at least getting something for my money but I’m not going to be renewing it when it runs out.

I realized I was thinking of the wrong mag. I meant Model Cars. Used to have a subscription to it and it was always such a long time between issues.
