I don't know how far I will get with this but its a start. Resin body and wheels, 3d printed chassis, engine and trans. Chassis is not especially detailed but it will hold the parts together.

Looks like an excellent project. I am along for the ride Heepy! Love that you are going to be putting a 6 in it, looks like Cummins though, and not a slanter.

Nice project Heepey. Where did you get your resin cab and 3D frame from? Do you have any colors picked out yet?

The frame is a remix of one I found on Thingiverse.com, sort of generic. The cab was a gift not sure of the origin. For colors I'm leaning towards gov't surplus civil defense orange or yellow.

Chassis is painted and wheels attached. Engine is placed and body mounts are progressing. Body placement mockup, the chassis came out about 1/8" too long but the gap will be filled with a set of stacks behind the cab. A lot of cleanup to do on the interior parts with fitting to the body to come.

Nice progress on your truck. I know what your dealing with working with resin parts but it’s all part of the building.

I think that is a 69, the one I am doing is a 67. I had a 70 many years ago, it had the same grille but a different hood.

I'm having issues with the primer sticking to the resin and have stripped the cab. I now have more body work to do then reprime before paint.

Dan I soak my resin parts in Black Magic Bleach White tire cleaner over night to clean the mold release agent from the resin. This helps to get the paint to stay on.
