Well, have the Duster's undercarriage just about done. Coded the axle ratio on the diff, and ran the fuel, brake & E-brake lines using round-wound guitar string in different sizes, from the cute gal at the music store in town...

Thanks; I think I've mentioned it before, but having restored several Mopars - and the research required to get them correct - well, that's a blessing, and a curse, haha. I'm thinking I really should add shifter linkage...

I really like the weathering on the chassis and the details like the brake lines that you have added. Excellent work!

Thanks - not much weathering, that's GY3 overspray along the sides as per factory. Added the trans linkage last night as it was nagging me from across the house, haha...
Got the Curious Yellow from Scale Finishes, and it's thankfully more correct than MCW's. Maybe this week I can get the basecoat on, then do the foil & decals.
Did the interiors & engines on both, so I'm getting there...

Got some stuff done yesterday and managed to inch both of 'em along a bit with basecoats. Debating between stock manifolds & adding the intake heat pipes, or doing headers on the RR's Hemi; probably mocking them up will help. Made the Hemi resonators, gotta slice into the tailpipes to install, so at some point I'll have a scale muffler shop

Nice progress pics, and good motivation to get back to building for me. I gotta say that moving was a pain in the butt and I still don't have my hobby area set up. I am really missing building kits too. Your Roadrunner is looking amazing and that yellow on your Duster makes me remember my '72 Demon. Have you seen my '69 Roadrunner project? moparsinscale.proboards.com/thread/3869/buddy-kks-69-red-roadrunner It is one I need to get back to work on too. Anyway great work so far, looking forward to seeing your future posts.

Thanks - yeah, only enjoyable thing about moving is being in a better place after it's over. Ha, looks like we use the same Shapeways grille; super nice product. Like that you did wheel covers, that's different nowadays; ironically, back in the day, full covers were the most common.

Yeah, ShapeWays has some great stuff. I am planning a '68 GTX using their grill and interior parts along with Keith Marx's excellent decals. not sure about the seats yet but I may just modify the buckets from the '69 kit since I am not using them anyway. LOL

I think I'm done with the RR undercarriage; basically Day 2 with headers & exhaust, but with the stock tailpipes & resonators. I'll add the tips at final assembly. Got the foil, chrome-pen & decal details done on the body. Still need to fab dome light, sunvisors, hood latch, antenna, & etc.
In the next couple of days I'll get to the Duster decals, but got the foil & chrome-pen detailing done.
Kinda depends on this new snowfall, as in plowing & shoveling...
