i will admit, some of these "PATINA" paint jobs do look interesting, but when i see them, i have 1 question and 1 statement. Why and not any of my cars. granted, they are not Mopar's, but c'mon, which would you rather drive? i really think all this patina look came from survivor cars. people didn't want to touch those (don't really know why) and people saw something different. its different alright. not for me. there, finally got the pictures back up. (yea, they are pro streeted, what di you expect.)

I agree with you, Al! I prefer the silver Daytona in the bottom picture!

I'm good with normal wear on an otherwise well-maintained & appreciated vehicle; it means I could drive & enjoy it without worrying about a rock chip or door ding.
But the neglected, dragged-out-of-a-swamp stuff is sad for me to see. The guys who don't even clean the mouse turds, birdcrap, or other filth before displaying a car...that's something I don't "get" and couldn't do.

I like either look myself but wouldn't drive either of those Daytona's. Mostly because I would rather own a home and pay my bills, but I am poor. LOL. This is why I build models. Well, my health plays into that thinking as well.
As for the patinaed look or the fully restored look I like both or either. That is because it was the owner's choice to have it that way. If I object to his taste I can go build one to my taste, or in my case go build a model to my taste. Although lately, all I have been doing is breaking out a model opening the box sighing, and thinking about what I would like to be doing to it. LOL, This moving stuff is a pain in the butt.
