Built the 29 high boy street version a few months ago and doing the same kit ( Revell 29 model A ) Low boy as a drag version. Notice that white blob at the lower left - sitting on top of the driveshaft. That was the original 29 grill that came in the kit. Decided to dechrome it using brake fluid. Unfortunately, after soaking it, I forgot about it and left it in the brake fluid over night. TA DA, no more chrome. Attachments:

didn't want to say nothing. that sucks. i have left parts in there for days and didn't hurt it. although i left some chrome parts in there for a few days and it didn't touch the chrome.
