Now that I’m finished with the Charger I’m back working on the GTX. I burned through my second coat with wet sanding so I’ve ordered more paint for the third coat. Been working on on adding some more details to the engine bay. My year and a half of semi retirement is coming to a end starting next week so my model building will be slowing down.

Yes I’m going back full time for Zachry. There Houston office is 20 miles from my home should be about a 30 minute to 60 minutes drive depending on traffic.

My paint arrived 3 days early so I was able to get the 3rd coat on and ready for some clear coat.

Thanks Al yea with a hour commute to go 20 miles. I was able to get the clear coat on and ordered some white pin stripe tape for the sides. I’m hoping that 1/16” will be thin enough for what I’m looking for.

Looking real nice. This is a great kit. Even if the underbody details are not the greatest. The body is so much better than the Revell Monogram GTX.

I’m getting closer still working on getting the pin striping on the sides here’s my first attempt but these are still to wide. I’m going to try using a white paint pen next.

I wonder if Keith Marks makes them ? They'd be very narrow if properly scaled.
