My simple Paasche airbrush & compressor are probably 35 years old. Compressor's so basic it doesn't have a switch or airbrush holders, and the airbrush (single-action, Type F I think) doesn't come apart for cleaning -seems a bit damaged - though it has a wide array of siphon bottles. Both work OK, but I'm thinking I should step up. I like the siphon bottles as opposed to being limited to the tiny gravity style. Looking around, I see for compressors: Paasche D500, DA300R, D500SR, DH550R, and Master TC 320 and TC40. Apparently fitting sizes differ but I've seen adapter fittings for 1/8 - 1/4... Looks like there's a wide range of Paasche airbrushes now - not sure why - and I don't really know what I need vs what's overkill. Double-action makes sense, but also maybe more complicated than I need. I'm basically just painting car models - lacquer, enamel & 2K automotive clear - not doing high-end flame jobs & such...
What should I get and why ? What are you guys using ? Thanks for any info & recommendations.

Guess it's a secret, huh ? No worries, I'll just figure it out.

Topside I use a GREX Tritium TG top feed air brush. I’ve had it now for over 8 years now and like it. I’ve only had to replace the o-ring on paint jug. It’s easy to clean up after spraying to. I bought the package with the air compressor and air brush.
