White or a cream color would look nice with that burgandy!

Yup, white interiors really "pop". Last '71 model kit grille I saw was pretty bad - but there's probably a resin or 3-D one out there.
Code E7 for a red is weird, I'd expect a code starting with R. Actually, for a '71, the colors had 3 digits: like EB5 or GB5 (1st digit is model year the color was introduced. (E = 1969, F = 1971, etc.)

I’ve been checking the Hamtramck site for my colors and I see that the paint chart has the 2 digit code and the interior color chart has the 3 digits. One thing I did find was that the E7 Burgundy was not available on the Barracuda. It’s available for the Fury’s so my story is that this one is a special order with this color. Lol.

Yeah, for ordering the codes were frequently abbreviated - I just thought E for a red was unusual. There were a few colors at times that were "for" different body lines, but it seems that on rare occasions - big deposit, persistence, or an inside track - they could be applied. No matter, it's cool and you're the factory !

Well I had a day off and a beautiful day sunny and 34% humidity so I got the air brush out and sprayed the Barracuda.
