we had a post going on this subject, asking if the site was dead and i can't find it. this is what i was talking about Facebook taking over proboards. i am an admin (yeay!!) at this facebook site. got in pretty much on the ground floor. this is how much we have grown in the last 28 days. the site is "Old Farts Of Model Building" if anyone wants to join, come on over. as of today, we are over 800 members. the other proboards sites i am on are pretty much dead.  |

I'm already in 12 FB groups, and there's a lot to sift through every day; I usually give up instead of spending a couple hours readin through them all. Plus, some members re-post things I've already seen in other groups. So, if I have a choice, I prefer an actual site without a barrage of posts to sift through.

I belong to 173 different facebook groups!! 😱😱😱 And no I don’t check them every day and there’s probably only a handful that I actually go to.. 😁  |

i am not sure how many i am in. i view these facebook pages like everyone views a dirty magazine, look at the pictures and read very little. actually, in most of the groups, i click on the "MEDIA" button and that brings up all the pictures. if i see something i am interested in, i click on it and can go straight to the post and read what i want.
