Hey, guys! Hope everyone is doing great!
I'm back at banging on the keyboard on a regular basis, now. Haven't quite got back up to speed in the Hobby Shack, but hopefully that won't be too far into the future! LOL
I'm thinking we should put some ideas together for how we want the MOM to progress.
Let's kick some stuff around, and see what comes up.

oh boy. we just did this in my model club. so lets address the elephant in the room (get it, elephant!!), are we going to keep it strickly Mopar or are we going to venture off into other avenues?

That's a great list of themes, Al. However, if we keep our MOM strictly MOPAR, some of those themes wouldn't get much action. For instance, there aren't a lot MOPAR wagon kits available. That category might require a good bit of kit-bashing or scratch building. Maybe we could run eleven months as just MOPAR, and one month as a free for all?

Well, it's "Mopars In Scale", and I'm good with that. I have no issues with the current casual format, and some of the examples on the list Al posted won't work well with Mopars. Slant 6 month IS funny, gotta say; that could be fun.
But I'd have no problems with a month for non-Mopars, or a theme - say, Forward Look, or '60s, or Racecars, etc.
Basically anything that promotes more participation but retains the uniqueness of the site, I guess.

ok, i will work on a list and post it up for critiquing. and i will include 1 or maybe 2 misc categories and just for you all that think 6 bangers are the way to go, i will include, the leaning tower of waste of a casting.

Should there be a 2nd category that forces Al to finish 1 car a month ?
(Not that I'm much better, but I only have 2 going simultaneously, not...God knows how many, haha)

joe, all are Mopar only except the FREE-FOR-ALL weeks. which does not exclude Mopars.
