Decided that I'd build a replica of my old '68 Charger while I wait for my parts from Fireball for the '70 440+6 Road Runner.
It was my favorite Charger - had several - that the 1st owner (I was 2nd) ordered when he couldn't get AC on an R/T 4-speed. So, he ordered as close as he could get with a non-R/T: 383 4-bbl, 4-speed, 11" brakes, no VT, red with white interior and no vinyl top. At 70,000 miles, it needed a cosmetic restoration, which I did. As we've all said at least one time, I never should have sold it... Haven't done the final clear yet, but you get the idea...

Thanks - one "interesting" feature of this kit - Revell Special Edition - is the red tail lights.
They have studs on their backside that place them way too far out of the bezels.
Had to trim them off to seat them correctly.
Otherwise a pretty nice kit, outside of the interior floor doubling as the driveshaft tunnel.
Mold parting lines on the body are in difficult places to remove without creating damage.
Decals are provided for the tail lettering, which is also raised on the panel, just to make things weird.
Hopefully it all goes together fine - seems like it's gonna be fussy to install tub & chassis into the body.
I lowered the nose by modifying the spindles, swapped the console shifter for a non-console, and removed the front license bracket; I never ran/run a front plate on my 1:1 cars unless - like my Road Runners - there's a dedicated/forced recess for one.
