I have always loved both versions of the movie Vanishing Point. I have a diecast kit coming in and have seen the Amt kits going for a good chunk of change. Pretty sure that the Vanishing Point kit is the same as the regular kit with the glue on top. Still want a sealed one that has the movie poster box for the collection. Btw The movie Nobody starring Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul & Breaking Bad) has a nice Challenger in it that sadly gets shot to pieces.

I really enjoyed watching vanishing point. Haven't seen the latest version, though. I always hate to see a good MOPAR get trashed in the movies. The beautiful Fifth Avenue that gets destroyed in Blues Brothers 2000 just about turned my stomach! LoL
By the way, the Challenger in the original Vanishing Point didn't hit the dozer. It was a white '69 Camaro. At least the movie director had that much sense! Hahaha

The prices I have seen for sealed Mopar kits on Ebay is really getting up there. Usually in the $40.00-$50.00 range for sealed ones. I found a sealed Amt vanishing point challenger with the movie poster box and bit the bullet on a $50.00 price tag. Checked the sold listings and that is about what they are selling for if you can find one for sale.

The only difference in that kit is it has a new non hole rally hood. And the kit has correct Rallies and RT Stripe decals. |
