'68 Imperial Crown Convertible

After I get a few stalled projects off the bench, I plan to start working with this:



It's a Jo-Han promo of a 1968 Imperial Crown Coupe.

I have about eight or nine of these. Somewhat hard to find. I started gathering them around 1998, or so.

I hope to convert one of them into a replica of this:



This luxo-barge belongs to me and the missus.

It came from Hollywood, where it is reported to have belonged to a celebrity out there.
There will be some major mods done to the promo to get it to the convertible stage.

These promos, along with the '67 Imperial, pop up on ebay now and then. Sometimes, they don't go very cheap, or I would have more of them! LoL
We drove our car to Gulf Shores, Alabama about twenty years ago. Smooth as silk on the road. Very comfortable ride.
