Anybody heard if they're having problems ? I placed an order June 4th, my CC went through, got an order confirmation... And nothing since, about being shipped or whatever. Emailed them a couple weeks ago but no reply. Sent another email today, and left a message on their phone.
You may not want to place an order with them until they tell me what's going on.

I use them both depending on how much paint I need.
I understand that for some model-supply vendors, it's probably a 2nd job, but even the bigger full-time vendors are a lot slower than other e-businesses.
I guess it's gonna be Scale Finishes from now on...

I heard they were moving to a different area and things were on hold briefly... same here, they moved from Ohio to the Carolinas i believe. anyways, i thought that move was complete. i don't think you have anything to worry about, they are highly reputable. hopefully. keep us posted. |

Address I have is in NC.
Haven't heard back after leaving a voice mail at their #.
I suppose it's possible that there's some personal disaster on their end, and they were fine to deal with in the past, so I'll reserve judgement until I know something.

They did move. I recently got my order from them. It did take a while. They are catching up on back orders first, and working their way down to current orders. I never have used MCW paint before, but from what I've read, it is worth the wait.

It's sold in a smaller bottle than Scale Finishes, and a bit less expensive.
Seems to dry more quickly, and less waiting between coats.
I've bought the same color from both places before as they can be different: GY3 (Curious Yellow) was that way.
In any case, it's not reassuring to hear nothing from 2 emails and 1 voice mail.

Finally got hold of them today by phone, which is 919-292-1695...
They said they're still catching up on orders from May. No answer as to why they didn't return my emails. In the meantime, I gave up and ordered from Scale Finishes, so at some point I'll have a bunch of K1 & L1 Turquoise.

Received, finally, the MCW order today.
I'm gonna be swimming in K1 and L1 turquoise now, haha...
Guess that means doing another pre-68 Mopar kit...
