Had this kit over 25 years. Saw it in the box started. Years ago I had started with a the AMT Charger 500 and added a resin nose. I painted it white at first then decided to strip it and paint it A2 silver with the red rear stripe and wing.
I know it’s quality is way below the Revell Daytona but rather than just forget about it why not just try to make it at least presentable.
Interior is now finished in red.
Wish I had a 440 instead of the Hemi but that’s what I had for it.
Inspiration came from this rare one of two Daytonas painted A2 silver with red rear wing.
Unfortunately I sanded off the Charger Script on the sail panels years ago. I can’t remember why. And I don’t have decals to replace them. I guess one day I’ll come across a set and put them on.
All I have to do now is tape off the tail light panel and airbrush it flat black and do the foil and chrome paint.
