Just finished this AMT kit.
Weird that some stuff was pretty precise, other stuff was molded with a poor fit. Front bumper may as well have been from another scale or a later Mustang.
Satisfying in some ways, not so much in others. It was a recent purchase - not some old warped thing from neanderthal tooling - so I'd hoped for better.

Thanks, guys. Actually, I should correct myself: while it's not an "old warped thing", it's a newer warped thing: the interior side panels, exhaust, front cap, and chassis were all more of a battle than they should be; their old Duster and RR/GTX kits are much better (not to say ideal) in that regard. To be fair, the details are pretty well rendered, and some bits like the scoops fit surprisingly well. It's dusty in that photo, but ironically the paint came out almost perfectly clean - literally 2 little pieces of dirt, in spite of the opportunities that arose doing black and then clear...
