Wheels are always a pain to get right! You are so right! I just realized that the wheels are chrome-plated and I painted them flat aluminum. I guess I'll have to get out the Alclad II Black and Chrome paints. |

Originals on mine had a satin polish appearance on rim & spokes, apparently because of the protective finish over the polishing.

Thanks topside! I was able to use a Molotow Chrome Paint marker over the silver paint on my wheels and they have some shine to them, but not a lot.

I've been working on the Porsche 911 a little bit. The wheels and tires are on and the interior is painted and partially assembled. The seats and the side panels need to have decals installed. Other interior parts have been painted brown and need additional detailing. I removed the headlights when I realized that they needed to be painted with Alclad II Chrome paint. Thanks Joe! I paint and build as I go along, but the multiple colors required for one part gets to be a pain after a while.

Yes, they can! I say that I am getting used to it and then another RoG kit comes along and I am stuck back at it again.

I'm sure the decals were common to both Porsche kits. It just makes sense that way. I finished decaling the interior this morning. Now I will have to use flat clear on the seating surfaces and semi-gloss clear on the dash and the side panels.    Will Trent will return... |
