That's it laying by the steering wheel in one of the above photos.

That's it laying by the steering wheel in one of the above photos. I saw that but it looks like the rear bulkhead could also be a seat back with those ribs... kind of strange looking.

The rear seat back has the same ribbed structure as the seats themselves. The seat decals covered the separate seat back and was later installed when the side panels had set up and dried. The seat back has a fold down option, hence the hole in the middle of the rear seat. There is a hex shaped piece that goes in the hole from the seat back.

Last night before I turned in for the night, I added some 1/16 styrene round stock to the holes in the rear bumper for the bumper guards. Then I added the bumper extensions to the rear bumper since they are part of the front bumper anyway. I decided to leave the bumper extensions along and paint them body color instead of trying to sand them smooth. Will Trent will return...

I painted the body today in Tamiya AS-15 Tan. I thought it came out pretty good. Now to decide if I want to add the words to the side of the car. Will Trent will return...

Not my favorite color for a Porsche but I know you are doing a replica... looks like it went on nicely.

Thanks Joe! I wasn't crazy about the color at first, but it is growing on me. The color sprayed nicely, so I can't complain!

Are you going to clear it?

Yes, I am. Although the original car doesn't seem to be too shiny, I am going to clear the body. The '73 Porsche 911 used on the show seems to have a mis-match of parts and I think the producers bought a wreck and fixed it up to look like a '73 even though the author said that the actual car is a '79.
