Took me a while to decide on what to butcher next, and since I have 2 of these Revell kits, figured I could mangle one of 'em... Then, the color & wheel/tire decisions, but I'm going with the '69 burgundy and probably Minilites... Whether it gets the typical stripes, I haven't decided, but it'll be the base trim, not an RS.

Got some basecoat on it yesterday - it's the '69 Burgundy color - and painted the Minilites I got from Fireball.

Thanks - it was based partly on contrasting the rest of my stuff, haha, plus it's not that common. Color & wheels are usually the decisions I spend the most time deciding on.

FWIW - this build is on hold while I work through the agony of selling my house and find a suitable new place. Hell, everything else is on hold...
For those who don't know, FHA lending brings HUD in, and they have a wacky set of standards that are beyond city/county/state code; conventional loans - which I've always used - don't have that BS. As a bonus, the standards are vaguely worded and they only become specific when an inspector has an engineer make that decision from a desk somewhere... That's the short version of the cluster-you-know-what...

That's the short version of the cluster-you-know-what... I know some of what yer going thru. It took more than a year to sell our former abode. Started in 2019, sold in the spring of 2021. Fortunately, we were free and clear of any financing, so we got in the new place by the middle of May, 2021. The main problem now is that we downsized about 300 square feet, so figuring out where to cram everything has been an ongoing chore!! LOL I had the hobby room in a 12' x 15' bedroom at the old place. Now, it's in a 12' x 20' outbuilding in the back yard! Still had to figure out how to place everything, because the building is not laid out the same as the old bedroom! It's always something, ain't it? Hahaha

Anyway, back to the Camaro. The dark red is a great color for this ride. The only Camaro I've built to date is the MPC '69 convertible, and the AMT '68 Z/28. That was many moons ago, and they could both use a good rebuild.

Well - now that I'm settled in at my new place & everything's in place, I can get back on this thing. The Fireball Minilites & Goodyears just barely fit after some modification, but I like to fill the wheel openings on 1:1 cars too. Still more to do, obviously, but making progress.
