My new full scale project is this 1979 Dodge Magnum XE. Teal Mist Metallic and all white interior. 360 / 904 / 9 1/4 diff. It originally came with a half vinyl roof that had to go. Besides having a sick 360 engine (will end up being a 408 or 426), it's in pretty good shape with just 43 years of dents, dings to deal with. Interior is excellent. I am tackling the body work first ( my least favorite thing to do). It has lots of options - A/C, cruise, heated rear window, power Pass. seat, tilt, 8 track (for my groovy tapes), trunk dress-up. I am hoping to end up with a nice cruiser. John Attachments:

Looks nice and clean for being 43 years old.

Looks nice and clean for being 43 years old. Pictures can be deceiving, but the mid to late 70's Mopar's are still quit affordable with many options that came on the "muscle car " era cars. Power of course is way down, but that is an easy ( and relatively inexpensive) fix. Some had very nice lines also. This one has a unique paint / interior combo that I will keep. Everything else on this build will be up for grabs, as originality is not on my plate for this car. Attachments:

I used to have a 79 unfortunately I spun out on an icy bridge a destroyed it hitting the guard rail. It was a beautiful car red metallic with the white rear roof like yours and red cloth interior. It was a nice southern car too.
