For a friend

So back in September I saw my good friend Paul the last time before he passed away. It was a usual meeting, remembering cars and the fun we had back in the day and as always his mom’s pink VW came up. I told him I saw a model kit of one at an auction and thought I’d get. He asked me to find one and build it for her. I assured him I would. It was a hard kit to find but I found it unfortunately he passed away before I did. I delivered it to her today and told her this was from Paul and myself. Emotions were definitely high and tears were shed as we remembered him and I shared the conversation we had about the model. My plan was for him to give it to her, not me. Rest In Peace my friend and know that your request has been honored.
