This is Revell's 71 Cuda. This is a water based paint from Createx. Opaque means FLAT! No matter how much enamel gloss coat you put on it it still remains flat. I aint liking water based paints much. More presure and bigger air brush tip. Supposed to use a water based cleaner for your air brush. Laquer thinner works better. Still learning with water based paints. My learning curve might out live me.  |

Future Floor Wax makes Acrylic paint shine cause it is Acrylic...

It’s hard to use craft paint. Even Tamiya acrylic enamel paint is not easy to get a great shine. Unless you clear it. You could use automotive clear. Not cheap but a quart or gallon would last for years.

very nice build. i don't know how many times i have said that i really hate that kit. got stupid a while back and sold all 4 i had for $20 i hated that kit sooooooo bad.

Ya, except for the hood which had a slight warp in it ( which I could never get out), the rest of the fit and detail wasn't too bad. Sits a little too high. Body / engine / underside detail was ok also. Maybe I will send you this one for your "hate" shelf.  |
