I just got mine this week. Will be starting it soon after I finish my Dart Sport. On mine, the hood was a little warped but I build them as mock promos so I just glued it to the body. Others have reported this problem as well. Use caution on the front axle pins, they are fragile and can break off when mounting to the tire backs. Also, if you're planning on using the hood scoops, use an xacto on the blind holes and test fit the scoops I used an 1/16 drill and the holes were a little oversized. |

I haven’t opened the kit yet. But I’m going to either use a full axel for the front and go through the engine promo style or use cut down drywall nails to replace the plastic pins. Thanks for the heads up. I’m thinking FC7 plumb crazy purple.

That sounds good. I tried drilling through the engine block on the Coronet kit but drilled it crooked Lol. Great choice on the plumb crazy, once had one of the Wheats Nostalgia Demon mock promos in plumb crazy but, like a fool sold it.
