Next on the bench will be this old kit, a 1929 Ford Woody... I will be building it as it rolled out of the factory, not a hotrod!

Started painting the Woody today and assembled some of the undercarriage and interior. Tried the body panels inside to see how the wood looks...

With second winter starting today with a big snow event I decided to stay in and be creative... mixed up a burgundy color using Tamiya Red X7, a touch of Tamiya Blue X4 and a touch of Tamiya Black X1 till I came up with this! Broke out the Badger airbrush after masking the body and here is where she now sits in the process!

Looking good! Great colors. I remember I had the old Hubley diecast kit of one of those many years ago.

Wow! It came out amazing. You definitely picked the right colors. I can’t believe you got it together so fast. I’m still working on my Dart Sport. 😂

looks great Joe. what color did you use for the wood? The light wood was done with Tamiya acrylic Desert Yellow XF-59 and the darker wood was done with Tamiya acrylic Flat Earth XF-52.
