1975 Dodge Dart Sport

Been working on my Dart Sport.

Decanted and airbrushed testors extreme lacquer Pure gold that’s really close to 75 Y6 Inca gold. And airbrushed Duplicate-color 1k high gloss clear.

Still have some small spots I have to buff out.

Got the engine in. While it’s supposed to be a 360. The kits engine is for sure a 340.

Got the chassis almost finished. Changed it to an automatic transmission since only automatics got the interior console.

Got the interior finished. Changed the shifter to automatic. One thing I noticed is this kit has 1972 door panels. I guess they modified the old Duster kit to make this one.

I’m going to add the dual rally mirrors. Was thinking of adding black Demon side stripes since I don’t have the Dart Sport style. Maybe I’ll just leave it as is. Oh one warning about the Duplicate-color clear it has a slight tint of amber to it so I don’t recommend it for light colors or white. I applied four coats and don’t recommend applying more because of this.

Got the Dart Sport finished.
Put on the dual rally mirrors.


I always liked these cars. My old 73 gave me years of service. Someday I’ll ship it up here and restore it.

If could have ordered mine new. It would be this color.
Too bad nobody makes the 73 grill but the 75 76 isn’t too bad.



One cool trick I saw on YouTube is to paint clear gloss over the tail lights. It kinda gives them a realistic look.

Not much details or torsion bars. But I like that on the dealership floor look.

Did the best I could with the interior.
