Just finished up my 1968 Coronet convertible R/T as a mock dealer promo. Original dealer promos of this are really expensive so I decided to make my own out of current kits. This one was done in Tamiya pure white. Next will be the Demon 340 but have ot decided on a color yet.

I've been wanting to do that with an old JoHan '69 Road Runner kit, but with a glue that would allow later disassembly.

Thanks Next will be the 71 Demon, either in brown metallic like my friend had or plum crazy. Topside, there is a YouTube video of someone putting together the 71 demon with white Elmers glue as a test fit. Lookup Mpc demon model kit on YouTube. Might work for you.

Yup lots of scratch builders use Elmer's glue for test fitting as it comes right apart when you want but holds well for however long you want.

Hey, thanks - I've heard of using Elmer's, and y'all have confirmed it.

Looks like a promo from 68. Nice! Thanks, very appreciated. Not hard to do, I just build the kit in sub-assemblies and spray the body in a chosen gloss color and do the other parts like the interior and undersides in the same color then hit it with clear flat. Most of the original promos that I have had seem to have that combination..
