I haven’t touched anything model-related in years. We had water damage to my hobby room / office in our basement a few years ago and all of undamaged stuff got relocated to my basement shop, including my model bench. I ended up shortening the bench a bit to fit on a wall a couple of years ago but didn’t get much farther than that. But last week, I emptied the shop and organized things so I can actually get around in there again. A new stool is on order, since I got rid of the chair I used to have at the bench. The chair didn’t have wheels and was a pain to move around. Sitting on a step stool, my first return to the bench was assembling this GI Joe Storm Shadow kit. It just snapped together, went together pretty well, and actually looks like an action figure with articulating parts. I did a little painting to make some details pop more. In the process, I learned how bad my eyes have gotten over the years that I’ve been away from the bench. And my rear end didn’t like sitting on the step stool for hours.

Nice way to jump back in, Dave!! Action figure looks great! Sometimes it can be difficult to get back into the hobby when there has been a disruption. I've found it kinda hard to get restarted since we moved. After three years, I'm still sorting out the Hobby Shack and finding stuff I didn't even remember having!!
