I have been missing in action due to my Mother in Law Jody having a heart attack in Spokane Washington about 80 miles south of my home. She is 93. Her kidneys have shut down and she doesn't want life support of any kind. She was in the hospital for 7 days and once it was determined she is Terminal we got ahold of Hospice to bring her home where she wants to be. My wife is her caregiver. Both my kids have come with their daughters to see Gma before she leaves this earth. She is getting weaker by the day. Bucky and Mike have been very supportive of me through this hard time! Thanks guys!
Sorry to hear that. I hope you all have made peace, for lack of a better word, with the situation. Been through a fair amount of that stuff the last 10 years, and you have my sympathy.
Wow! I feel for you and the family. May god bless her and your whole family in the sad days to come. I lost my mom 7 years now. I know how hard it is and will be.
Went through this three years ago with my mom-in-law. She was 93, as well. Mrs. BUCKY and her four sisters all took a week at a time as caregivers. I helped out when it was Mrs. BUCKY's turn. When you need to chat, Joe, just give me a call! I'm retired, ya know, and I'll answer the phone...unless I'm trading trucks! LoL

Something I learned many years ago while reading the book "The Making Of The Atomic Bomb", odd as that may seem; it's essentially a description of Physics, and how everything - including of course us - is composed of atoms hurtling around and assembled: We and everything else is essentially Energy, and Energy does not die; it essentially just changes shape, not necessarily visible to the eye. That explains why from time to time we can feel those who've departed. I found that comforting and intriguing, and explaining that to a few people since has eased their anguish & sadness, as it has mine.
Sorry to hear the bad news. Your family has our condolences.
