I have the Revell GTS kit, but don't see anyone making resin conversion parts to make it a Swinger 340. Would need the "plain" rear panel & bench seats, probably interior side panels to be more accurate - I have a spare 340 from an AMT Duster kit. Anyone know of a source I couldn't find ?

The 2 in 1 Hemi kit has a plain rear panel, but it only has the trunk lock detail, no DODGE lettering. No idea on the bench, but interior panels aren't that hard to scratch up.

Hey, thanks for the heads up. I'll look at Harts Parts & see what they have for benches & such - might find something with a Google search. I'd hate to raid a Hemi Dart kit for its rear panel & interior sides - I'm goofy that way, I guess. I was thinking white with red interior for a GTS, but if I can make a Swinger, it'll be different colors.

Found some on Feebay, and emailed Hart to see if he's interested in making the Swinger rear cap, seats & tub. I'm surprised nobody makes a conversion. I'll let y'all know if something develops w/Harts Parts.

Well, Hart said it would be too costly for him to do.

Maybe able to find someone that does 3D printing to make them for you. I don’t know anyone but I see a lot of 3d printed stuff that looks good.

I could have a go at drawing it. I have the Dart kit for reference.

Just seems like there'd be a market for the conversion. Hamtramck_Hisotorical has all the interior patterns & other info to make things accurate.
I ended up buying some parts off Ebay, so I'll have to slice-and-dice the rear seat, rear trim/bumper/tail lamp cap, come up with a front bench, and then mess with interior patterns. Already have a spare AMT 340 & trans.
I'm tired already, haha !

I think what I'll do- after the Mustang is done - is build the GTS before doing a Swinger 340 conversion. That way I learn the kit before I go off the rails, right ?

That sounds like a good plan!

Aaaaand as it turns out, Keith Marks has '69 Swinger 340 decals, with either white or black tail stripe, so I ordered one of each. (Haven't decided on body or interior colors yet.) While I was spending money like a drunk, I also ordered a set for GTS because there are things on his sheet that the kit lacks.
A combination of Tamiya Mica Red and Clear Red over that got the interior color pretty much spot on.

Well, I have most of the stuff for this - though oddly, my spare 340 is missing its valve covers - just gotta decide on color and the best way to modify & fit the rear cap. Maybe cut out the GTS trim & leave the tail lights attached to the bumper...
