Thanks, Keith, I like it too. I wasn't too sure at first because it is so dark, but it really does look right on this one.

Okay, so this is a stalled project. I bit off more than my rusty old skills were able to do. The headers fell apart on me again and it was obvious that there was a ton of super glue on them at the collector's too. I have not given up on this one and am happy with the way the rest of the build is going. But this one will stay in the box for now as a stalled project.

LOL More to come soon! hey, we are all good. it's not a matter of getting even, its a matter of getting something done before you do!! Al! I still can't believe you got some done before I did. Still feel a bit humbled by that one.

Still feel a bit humbled by that one. ahh... not to worry. thing is, its not the work we are getting done now, it was the massive layoff from the bench thats the killer. had a chance to go down last night. watched, trailors of horror movies and to 10 music stuff on youtube till 11:30. anyways, this will kill ya... i actually have a completed build on my bench as we speak!! i even glued the door handles on AND the side mirror. still left the rear view mirror off, always do. it is a Chevy, don't tell anyone. in fact the 4 other projects awaiting completion on the bench are a 49 Merc woody, a 40something ford woody that i am making a 2 door out of, a 62 catalina drag car and a 67 GTX which i am trying to turn into a belvedere drag car. would like to have all of them done by vacation July 4th weekend.

Nice Al, I am much more productive these days, Keeping things simple is really paying off. Although it sucks to realize how bad my skills have deteriorated. I am at least getting things done and am seeing some progress in what I am able to do. I have also found tools that help me to adapt to the things that are gone forever, like my vision. I now own an optivisor and as soon as my budget will allow I will be buying a magnifying OTT light.
Can't wait to see the posts of your builds and projects. I know you will be updating us all soon on what you have on the bench. I am really looking forward to that Slant 6 you have been building for as long as I have been a member here!

oh, this one? i am farther along than i thought on that one. looking thru the pictures, its well along. i think i put it back in the box when i had a hard time mounting that damn 6 banger up to the chassis. i worked a little bit on a 48 ford woody i am making into a 2 door. hacked up the chassis last night. once i clear my bench, i may revisit ol topless 6 banger.
