It is from Revell '41 Willys Street Rod.

This goes on again.
Eliminator's chassis/suspensios are so bad I had to buy a Revell '32 chassis set. It has good front and rear suspensions, brake and steering parts. 1933 wheelbase is longer so front suspension was moved foward to the right place.

No chance to paint Charger yet so I continued rod. I had to reject '32 chassis because it needed too much work. Original chassis needed some modifications too before engine fits to the right place. The roof is now glued and it is time to mock-up test. I think I made right decision with the tires.

Big engine needs good brakes so I bought the parts box 13" disk brakes (1123). Some wheel work needed to fit them in place. Rear wheels needed widening and I saw a piece from plastic tube. Wheel backs centers were drilled away. Front wheels needed only thin rimm ring and it was sanded from resin wheel backs.

Yeah, this is what I like most in this hobby: making and modifying parts. No hurry to finish the model.

Nice. I dropped the body on the floor and the roof broke from its gluing. It must be done again. Engine is wired but this time I used a magneto instead of a distributor.

Body is repaired and front suspension lowered. Time to stance testing. Rear is still a bit low.

You'll get it to where you like it. I have no doubt!
