Man, that's a work of art. I'm fascinated with the working hood hinges, too.

Man, that's a work of art. I'm fascinated with the working hood hinges, too. Well, in the interest of full disclosure, the hinges do not actually function. They are just magnetically installed and are removable.

Steve your punch list of to do items must be getting pretty small now on your awesome build here. Looking forward to seeing you finish this one.

Steve your grill looks real. Did you check the lights to make sure they all work. lol. What did you use for the backs of the headlights?

real nice work Steve, when i am building and not sitting on my ass, i use doll eyes. just cut the white backing off and paint the clear part silver. they come in different sizes so do some measuring. you can get like a hundred for 3 or 4 bucks. i am curious on what Steve used. they are not bug eyes, thats for sure.

I happened to have a few resin grilles that someone gave me that I couldn't use, but they had good head light buckets, so I just sawed them off, added some "bulbs" and painted them with Alclad.

One thing that I've always hated about most model car kits is the unfinished look of the inside of the A-pillars.
The last few builds that I've done, I've addressed this by scratching up some A-pillar moldings, and this project is no different.
It is one of those things that nobody will probably notice, but if you're like me, you would definitely notice if they weren't there.
