Al, if you build your '71 GTX I will switch Dakota to '69 GTX Pro Street. Will you accept the challenge? We are both slow builders but we can do it. challenge excepted. btw, i got a jump start on you, i actually went down and moved the kit from the shelf to the bench... yea, thats right... progress baby!! |

here is my official entry into the build-off. i am doing a still sealed 1971 GTX. i really want to make a lot of changes to this kit, but i have enough and since my son gave this to me, i am going to build it pretty much box stock. hardest part is the color. would like to add a vynle top too. going to keep the 440+6 motor in it. i will say that the seal will be broken this weekend, maybe tonight.    i really like the gunmetal grey one, but i want to do a 71 hemi road runner in this color. i figure it out by december. |

At least you are consistent!!! consistently not getting things done!! i had this conversation with a couple of members from my model club. they are getting on me for the same thing, i am not bringing anything to the meetings. if i do, it's incomplete. i think the interest is still there, somethings is wrong with my motivation and drive. i will figure it out, whether its build like a mad man or just sell everything. i know... but just guessing, i bet i have less than 24 hours at the bench this whole year. sad times for the self-proclaimed best builder on this site!!  |
