Okay Guys how about this for something to ponder. What was your favorite model project of 2021 finished or not, and what are your plans for 2022 without getting to much into the whole resolution process. Just what you enjoyed most about our hobby in the last year and what you are looking forward to in the up coming one.

I’ll start my favorite build for 2021 was the Dan Gurney diorama. It was my first time to build Trans Am race cars and my first diorama. For me my model building this year has saved me from going bord crazy with being laid off in April and starting semi retirement now I’ve been able to build some of the projects that I never had the time for. For 2022 I’m not sure I’ll probably end up going back to work and have to cut back on my building time at the bench.
Happy New Years!

I have to say that my favorite started project is the Gold box stock, '68 Dart. moparsinscale.proboards.com/thread/4710/box-stock-68-dart-gts?page=1Although I am very much looking forward to working on the many LO23 Hemi Dart Super Stocks I have planed as future builds and also the finishing up of the '68 Roadrunner and a few other projects that are rolling around in my head. Oh and let's not forget the '67 Coronet R/T or the '68 Charger day 2 car. Soooo many projects and so little bench space lol.

I'll paraphrase Il Comandante (Enzo Ferrari) and say "the next one", haha. Been learning a lot & teaching myself things on every one so far (currently on 6th & 7th builds); but in a way my orange Hemi Duster is kinda special to me because I modified so much of it and like the results. The '55 BelAir is the sentimental favorite, as I've explained before... Most functional was the car transporter, because it allowed me to dig out my promos & stuff and condense the display.

I must say my favorite was my big work of the year diorama of Monte and his troops relaxing, restocking and testing their equipment during a brief respite from the relentless war with Rommel in WWII North Africa Theater...

let me just say that i hope that 2021 gets flushed down the crapper with some help from my 10 1/2 boot!! anything i started in 2021 did not get finished. my time in my room was probably 1/3rd of what i normally do. and half that time was spent on things other than models. we will see what 2022 brings. not totally optimistic.
