Boy this one has been fighting you a lot! But hopefully the paint will lay down for you on the hood with no problems!
That green does look nice on it.

I noticed that my last painting sesson left some places on the hood undercolored. I added another coat or two to the hood. Then, the crack reappeared in the upper right hand corner of the hood. I am done chasing this crack around and will leave the paint as is and polish it. This was suppose to be a quick and simple build and then the cracks appeared on the hood. I'm just going to assemble the 'Vette and be done with it.    More Corvette to come... |

The paint must be too hot for your filler you use... eating through the primer and into the filler... frustrating...

It is very frustrating! I have someone local sending me a hood. I hope that it is the same as the AMT hood that I am using now.

Thanks Joe! Forest Green Pearl happens to be one of my favorite colors! Green enough to pass as British Racing Green, which has many different shades of green. I find other greens to have varying shades of blue in them to change the color.
